Job opportunities in contentious probate for Solicitors, Legal Executives and trainees

Contentious probate is a core practice area of our award-winning, Legal 500 firm.

In the last few years our contentious probate department has gone from strength to strength. We have a wide-ranging clientbase, representing claimants and defendants not only in Devon and Somerset, but throughout the entire country and overseas.

We have exciting job opportunities in contentious probate for ambitious and hardworking inheritance dispute lawyers. Good basic rates of pay are offered, alongside a very generous bonus packags that ensures you share in our success and means that there are no limits to what you can earn.

We are also able to offer flexible working arrangements which can be adjusted to suit your particular needs and location.

You will have the opportunity to expand your knowledge and understanding of this interesting, varied and highly specialised area of law, within a supportive team environment.

We encourage our lawyers to play an active role in business development and marketing initiatives, making this an ideal opportunity for those who have aspirations of partnership. Indeed, most of our team trained with Slee Blackwell and are now salaried and equity partners, demonstrating how we encourage and support your career progression.

So, if you are experienced in contentious probate and inheritance dispute law (including Inheritance Act claims, invalidity challenges, executorship disputes and estoppel/constructive trust cases) then we would love to hear from you.

New Channel 4 legal series

If you are involved in a legal dispute, then the production company behind Who Do You Think You Are? and Long Lost Family is keen to hear from you.

In a first for British television, a legally binding alternative to the congested, lengthy, and costly court process is being offered. Each side’s case will be prepared by an independent solicitor and presented to an impartial arbitration judge by a leading barrister. This process will be free to all who take part, with the cost of legal representation being covered.
