What is a Lasting Power of Attorney?
A Lasting Power of Attorney, or LPA, is a legal document which allows you to appoint Attorneys who will be able to make decisions on your behalf.
There are two types of Lasting Power of Attorney.
- Health and Welfare LPA
A Health and Welfare LPA allows you to name Attorneys who will be able to make decisions about your living arrangements, your healthcare and even your medical treatment. The Attorneys will only be able to act if you lose the capacity to make decisions yourself.
- Property and Financial Affairs LPA
