Charity, Enough Abuse, has received a generous cash donation from Brighter Law Solutions, sponsors of the DASLS Legal Hero of the Year Award which was won by our own Rachel Thain earlier this month.

Rachel was invited by Brighter Law to nominate a charity to receive the donation and she had no hesitation in proposing Enough Abuse.

Rachel said:

‘The charity does fantastic work on behalf of victims of abuse and I am delighted they have received this much needed money. Their primary objectives are two-fold. They provide trainers across the UK with the aim of preventing abuse occurring, with a special focus on grooming. The charity believes that If grooming cannot be recognised then children can’t be protected from sexual abuse. They also fund vital trauma therapy for abuse victims.’

Founder, Marilyn Hawes, has expressed her gratitude to Rachel and Brighter Law, commenting:

‘Enough Abuse UK has a track record of proven results, and this money will be put to very good use. EAUK is making a difference to lives and we need to get the message of education across the UK as soon as possible. The Trustees cannot thank you enough for the donation and support you are giving.’

Further details of the work the charity carries out can be found on their website at  www.enoughabuseuk.com
